From the moment we stepped into Raven’s Manor – the setting of the evening, an elite sanctuary sealed off from a plague-ravaged world – it was clear that this was no ordinary event. The professional sound and coordinated lighting created a chilling atmosphere, brought to life by a mega-talented cast who embodied their roles with an unnerving grace.
Poe-Etique is an immersive event driven by captivating dance sequences and storytelling that ensnares its audience. The intricate narrative, which pays homage to the works of Edgar Allan Poe, is a fever dream of madness, mystery, and the macabre. You don’t just watch the story; you become a participant, wandering through the manor where a desperate Doctor races to complete a volatile cure and tormented aristocrats unravel under the weight of guilt and dark secrets. Your fate entwines with cursed lovers, deranged partygoers, and even a masked figure known as the Red Death. The show finds a masterful balance, delivering exciting and fast-paced scenes that provide the perfect amount of thrill without relying on jump scares or being overtly frightening.
