Tom Holland (Fright Night, Child’s Play). Tom talked about his entire career from becoming an actor in a soap opera to how he became a screenwriter and then an author. He’s written a Fright
Night novel titled Fright Night Origins and announced he’s writing a new Fright Night
novel that’ll be out in October 2023! He also told the packed crowd that he was working on
another Psycho II book. The first one was the complete filming script and the upcoming

Post Mortum with Mick Garris
This podcast recording, live from Midsummer Scream’s Podcast Lounge, was all about the current WGA & SAG strike. Mick Garris was joined by actor Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story), and screenwriters Pat Casey & Josh Miller (Sonic The Hedgehog 1&2, Violent Night, and Hey! Stop Stabbing
Me
), and Scott Reynolds (Dexter, Jessica Jones). The group went into detail about what’s
going on with the strike, what’s at stake and what have they been doing (besides playing Zelda on
Nintendo). You can listen to that episode titled ‘Midsummer Scream 2023’ HERE or wherever you consume your podcasts!
