Boo At The Zoo
Los Angeles, CA — Treat the imagination at Boo at the L.A. Zoo, where you’ll find spine-tingling adventure every day in October and themed entertainment including puppet shows, special animal feedings, and pumpkin carving on the weekends. Costumes are encouraged!

Ghost Train
Los Angeles, CA — The LA Ghost Train is the Los Angeles Live Steamers annual fundraiser. Guests are treated to a 23-minute journey through an imaginary world while riding aboard 1/8th scale trains. The show is designed to be spooky, yet family friendly, with about 30 professionally designed displays enhanced with animatronics, sound, projections, theatrical lighting, fog, and fire.

Boney Island
Los Angeles, CA — Held for 19 years in a residential neighborhood, Boney Island now comes to life in Griffith Park at the Los Angeles Live Steamers between Ghost Train and Travel Town. Boney Island features skeletons performing rope tricks, levitating through hoops, and shadow puppetry. There are side show-type gags and a host of other oddities, but no gore or scares, making  this event great for all ages.

Haunted Little Tokyo
Los Angeles, CA — Visit Little Tokyo in Downtown Los Angeles for pumpkin patches, games, free Halloween movie screenings, ‘haunted’ walking tours, themed specials, and more including a Block Party on 10/27.

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch
Culver City, CA — Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch is a family-owned and operated business that focuses on bringing the farm to the city and celebrating the magic of Halloween. This patch has a lot more to do than just pick pumpkins, including pony rides, face painting, a petting zoo, a straw maze, bounce houses, live entertainment and more! This Friday (10/26), visit their Trick or Treat Spooktacular from 6-8pm for treats and music from Bank of Harmony.

Nightmare Before Christmas 4D at the El Capitan
Los Angeles, CA — You already love the movie, so why not celebrate its 25th Anniversary by experiencing it in 4D? Watch Jack Skellington and friends in 3D while you are surrounded by sensory effects timed to the movie; lights, fog and scents plus more wind & snow than ever before! Rated PG.

Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Party
Universal City, CA — This year, Universal Studios Hollywood is hosting its first-ever kid-friendly Halloween celebration! Children 12 years of age and under are invited dress up and Trick-or-Treat at the theme park along with some of their favorite characters including Hello Kitty as The Bride of Frankenstein (pictured), Illumination’s Minion Monsters, SpongeBob SquarePants, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy and others!
Included with Park Admission on Saturday, 10/27 and Sunday, 10/28 from 10am to 4pm.

Sherman Oaks, CA Â — VanOaks Cemetery is a Halloween yard display that is great for family members of all ages who love spooky, not gory, Halloween decorations. Their set up features theatrical lighting, effects, animatronics and sound, and is a local favorite!

Tanaka Farms
Irvine, CA — If you need something in the OC area, head to Tanaka Farms for their Hello Kitty-themed pumpkin patch! It takes place on their actual farm and includes a wagon ride, petting zoo, a pumpkin cannon, corn maze, sunflower field, ATV rides, face painting, games and other interactive activities for kids.
Pre-purchased Parking Passes are required for entry on weekends
